The Destiny Seeker series started as a drawn-out hobby, but now it’s a full-fledged epic fantasy series. You can learn a bit more about the series by reading below.
Dive into the World of Zehra
The story centers around a girl named Ilsi, who was stuck on her island home because a mysterious Wall divided the islanders in half—there’s no in or out. Her half of the island, Dove, is populated by Ice Chanters, the only known people who can manipulate ice.
Her whole world expands when she realizes she can breach the Wall, thanks to a mysterious power she has called Swift. What lies on the other side challenges her in every sense of the word. Her attempts to get back home to her father clash with her desire to see everything this open world of Zehra has to offer.

She goes out into the world to figure out how to break the Wall but ends up learning about a huge war going on between Lady Ladala, the leader of the Elven nation, and Althod, the leader of the Yildirim army. More importantly, she learns more about her place in all of this and how it’ll hopefully help her family back home.
Throughout the series, Ilsi relies on Tyk, her childhood best friend and Reshma, her closest Fire Weaver friend, and others to stay alive and see her journey through. She’s only able to take control of her life and take on Althod (who especially wants her to join his side) when she lets her weaknesses become strengths.
This is one complete story spread over a two-part series. Be sure to read them back to back to soak up the epic tale.
Destiny Seeker: The Messenger

Ilsi would do just about anything to break the Wall trapping her people, the Ice Chanters. But when she least expects it, Ilsi becomes the first person to pass through the Wall and into a world larger than she’d ever imagined. With the help of Reshma the Fire Weaver, she evades capture from outside enemies who seek to take advantage of the isolated clan.
Now on the run, Ilsi braves the outside world to find allies willing to free her people from isolation. All she has to do is figure out how to break the Wall and end its curse before the cruel Althod and his Yldirim army catches her.

Destiny Seeker: The Defender

LADY LADALA and her allies are on the brink of war. Because Althod has captured and used Ilsi to grow stronger Ladala knows she faces an uphill battle. She must weaken him enough to put an end to the influence of his Entice power and free Zehra for good. Meanwhile, her human allies from Yling and Karno are eager to fight Althod head on, unable to stand by and watch his inexorable march across the continent. It will take the patience of an elf to keep everyone together.
PRINCESS DURI has been rescued from her own castle by Elven soldiers. In order to save her people, she has to step up as a leader in a way her parents and brother never prepared her for. She’ll have to make unlikely allies and hard choices if she hopes to unseat Althod and free her kingdom.
GILLY is just an Animan and Fire Weaver from Tijer, with no noble title or army, but she’ll do whatever she can to bring Ilsi and Reshma back and reunite her family—even if it means going into the heart of danger. She must learn to put her faith in others as much as herself if she intends to help Ilsi and Reshma finish what they started.
WHAT BEGAN as a conventional alliance between these three key players must become something stronger if they are to hold the line between freedom and total control.
DESTINY SEEKER: THE DEFENDER follows epic heroes, old and new, as they make their final stand in this, the conclusion of the Destiny Seeker series.

Sounds terrific!!! So, I looked at your husband’s works in progress first and signed in as MOM…you, know, since I’m his mom. Now I guess that’s the “log in”…not to be confused with your own mom, but MOM just the same.
How about where and when I can purchase it? I think it’s dope that you followed through with this girl! I’m so happy and excited for you!
Shoot! Right now I’m looking for a literary agent to help me get closer to the publishing and selling part of the process. 😀 I’ll definitely keep you updated on how things go.
